Classical Turkish poetry is a multilayered literary heritage that reflects not only individual emotions but also the social life of the period. Although classical Turkish poetry is perceived as highbrow literature, the social life elements it contains show that this perception does not reflect reality. The aim of this study is to reveal how the theme of social life is addressed in classical Turkish poetry and to comprehensively evaluate the academic knowledge on this theme. The research includes academic studies published between 2007 and 2025 on the manifestations of social life in ancient poetry. These studies have been classified according to their type. The data obtained has been evaluated under various headings. In this respect, the research aims to provide a systematic map of the literature and to offer a new perspective on the subject.
