mmunication and international relations, the gradual
development of technology and the changes in the
world's living conditions and mentality, people have
started to learn different languages in order to get to
know their environment and keep up with these
developments. Although the purpose of learning a
foreign language varies from person to person, it is
sometimes due to the interest and curiosity of the
individuals, sometimes to find a job. From past to
present, states have tried to teach their languages to
other states and to place them in the brains and worlds
of thought of their peoples at the level and level where
they have the power and have a say in world politics.
While teaching their languages, they also tried to place
their understanding of life, civilization values, world
views, beliefs, folklore values and cultures. Whatever the
reason, learning and teaching foreign language activities
are becoming more and more common in the world.
Accordingly, new and new methods are used every day
to teach and learn foreign languages. These methods
make the language learning process fun and allow
teaching or learning in a short time. In this study, it is
emphasized that grammar teaching is important in the
foreign language learning process and that functional
grammar should be given by using the possibilities
instead of loading all grammatical structures to the
foreign language learner in this process. In this state, the
process will become more meaningful as it will respond
to the need and what has been learned will be more
permanent.
